Events
There are many different events at Hafenkirche! There are times to celebrate together, opportunities to learn and grow together, and moments to be encouraged and strengthened.
Details of planned and spontaneous events throughout the year can be found at the info table in our Coffee Lounge – these often vary from year to year.
Below you will find details of a couple of our larger events that we organise every year to give you an impression of what is going on in the Hafenkirche calendar.
Hafenkirche Summer Festival
The Summer Festival has been a staple of our programme for years!
It originally took place in a public park, but since 2024 it has been held in our building in Ludwigstraße. It is a weekend full of family-friendly activities such as face painting, arts and crafts, giving away house plants, live music, puppet shows and much more!
It is all for free – our way of supporting and loving Frankfurt. There is also a great selection of homemade cakes and tarts, coffee and tea.

Hafenkirche Christmas Market
The Christmas Market is a new event in our calendar since we moved into our new building in Ludwigstraße. We held the first market at the beginning of December 2024 and it was a great success.
The room was filled with stalls displaying creative talent: handmade decorations, Christmas cards, ribbons, Advent wreaths and children's arts and crafts. There was also mulled wine and biscuits – all homemade, of course!
